Created within the celebration.

Your painting begins while the wedding day is still unfolding. Heather paints within the celebration, gathering the setting, atmosphere and people around you into an original work of art. Afterward, the painting returns to the studio for its final details before making its way home to you.

The Petite

An intimate original created for couples who want the full live painting experience in a piece that feels at home almost anywhere. Small enough to live beautifully alongside the objects and artwork you've collected over time, while still holding an entire moment within it.

The Signature
24 × 30" · Live Wedding Painting

A larger canvas with room for more of the story. The Signature allows the setting, atmosphere, and people surrounding you to become a greater part of the composition. Designed to hold presence on a wall without overwhelming the space.

The Heirloom
30 × 40" · Live Wedding Painting

The largest piece in the live collection, created for a moment you want to give space to. At 30 × 40", the Heirloom becomes part of the room it lives in — allowing greater depth, detail, and storytelling within the composition.

Includes the live wedding painting experience, original 30 × 40" painting, studio finishing, varnishing, and final delivery within HRM.

with your story.

The collections and investment are here so you can explore what feels right before reaching out. When you're ready, we'll begin with a conversation — about your wedding day, a photograph you hold close, or the moment you're imagining in paint.

Prices are subject to HST. For weddings outside Halifax Regional Municipality, travel and accommodation may be quoted separately. Any additional costs will always be discussed before booking.

A few things you might be wondering
How far in advance should we book?

As early as you know you'd love to have a live painter there. Heather accepts a limited number of weddings each year so every celebration receives the time and attention it deserves.

2026 and 2027 dates are currently open for booking. If you have a date in mind, you're always welcome to inquire about availability.

Can we choose the moment you paint?
Absolutely. Your painting should hold the moment that feels most meaningful to you. Whether it's your ceremony, first kiss, first dance, or another part of your celebration, Heather will work with you ahead of the wedding to choose the moment and composition that best tell your story.
Will the painting be finished at the wedding?

Your painting will take shape live throughout your celebration, with your likeness captured before the end of the evening so you can see yourselves within the piece that night.

After the wedding, Heather brings the painting back to the studio for 4–6 weeks of refinement, where she completes the final details, finishing touches, and varnishing before it's ready to come home to you.

What is included in a Live Wedding Painting Collection?

More than the painting itself. Your collection includes the planning and preparation leading up to your wedding, live painting throughout your celebration, studio finishing afterward, professional varnishing, and a Certificate of Authenticity with care instructions.

Each original is created with professional artist-quality acrylics on a 1.5-inch gallery-wrapped canvas with finished, painted edges, ready to display in your home.

Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely. Heather is based in Nova Scotia and is available for weddings across Canada and beyond. Travel within the Halifax Regional Municipality is included in your collection, while travel and accommodation for celebrations farther away are quoted based on location.
